About the Orgnisation
The Agricultural Produce (Development & Warehousing) Corporations Act, 1956, which was later repealed and replaced by the Warehousing Corporations Act, 1962, established the Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), a statutory body under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of India. This Mini Ratna Category-I PSU is Schedule "A." With a storage capacity of 108.60 lakh metric tonnes, it has a vast network of 469 warehouses. The Central Warehousing Corporation is certified as an ISO:37001:2016 ABMS, ISO 9001:2015 QMS, ISO 14001:2015 EMS, and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).
Its primary goal is to offer dependable, affordable, comprehensive warehousing and logistics solutions with added value in an environmentally and socially conscious manner. The following are the primary duties of CWC:
a. To purchase, construct, and manage warehouses in
to offer stock handling and transportation facilities to and from warehouses.
c. Establishing infrastructure to support EXIM commerce.
d. To represent the government, businesses, or body corporate as their agent in the buying, selling, storing, and distribution of stocks.
b. To offer pest control and defestation services outside of its warehouses.
f. To offer consulting services in relevant domains.
Qualification

Stipend
CWC will provide Rs. 16,000/-, Rs. 18,000/- and Rs. 20,000/- stipend to the trainees
for the first, second and third year respectively.
Duties and responsibilities
A. Assistance with the creation of ledgers in Tally ERP and the passing of entry of all types of vouchers (such as miscellaneous journal vouchers, purchase vouchers, sales vouchers, payment vouchers, creation of GST invoices, debit notes, credit notes, etc.) in order to assist with the accounting of all expenses and income.
B. Support for tasks pertaining to both direct and indirect taxes:
i. Support in creating the monthly TDS deduction details needed to deposit taxes in accordance with income tax and GST laws.
ii. Support in gathering information for the 26Q, 27Q, and 24Q quarterly returns that need to be filed.
iii. Support for utilising the GST portal to verify ITC of GST in GSTR 6A.
iv. Support in filing annual returns (GSTR 9 and GSTR-9C) as well as monthly GSTR 1, GSTR 6, GSTR 7, and GSTR 3B.
