Educational Qualification Required : Qualified Chartered Accountant. OR MBA/PGDM in Finance from a AICTE/UGC approved institute.
Experience Required : Around 12 – 20 years of experience in handling accounting functions out of which 5 years’ experience in handling taxation matters of large Corporate House. Shall be responsible for handling all direct tax and indirect tax related matters for WBEIDC. Coordinate withfinance & Accounting functions in ensuring compliance for direct and indirect tax laws. Prepare returns, reports, submit documents for ensuring compliance with Income Tax laws. Handling assessment related jobs for both direct and indirect taxation matters. Responsible to handle audits related to Income tax and indirect tax laws. Preparing replies for queries related to taxation matters and handling meetings with tax officials to ensure closure of matters. Coordination with various function to ensure smooth transition to compliance under GST Laws. Advise management regarding tax planning both for income tax and indirect tax laws. Coordinating with Legal team in handling litigations and court matters related to taxation laws. Any other work entrusted by the organization from time to time in the field of taxation.
